General job descriptions (all researchers):
Brainstorming and discussing ideas to be transferred and developed into real action/potential research work.
Writing research reports and articles on social, governmental, economic, political, and security policy and issues.
Engaging in both qualitative and quantitative research with a multidisciplinary approach.
Providing the Indonesian society, government, CEOs, and country managers, as well as the foreign counterparts with the latest analysis on domestic and foreign policies.
Developing, planning, and executing ideas for INADIS’ DISTRAKSI program.
Specific job descriptions:
Conducting and reporting bi-weekly field research to gather primary data for blog articles and research projects (both quantitative and qualitative).
Contributing on an economic perspective during brainstorming and article-writing.
Essential skills and attributes:
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and/or Economics.
Excellent numeracy and verbal communication skills.
An aptitude for producing written materials that are clear and accessible to a general audience.
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; strong spoken, reading, and writing English skills.
At least 1 (one) year of work experience in field activities (including internships, organizational activities); development research/work is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft office software.
Desirable skills and experiences:
Flexible, adaptable, and proactive: ability to change course, apply new knowledge and skills effectively, and explore new ideas.
Curious people person and open-minded: excited about knowing and understanding new people and cultures; interested in having new and unique knowledge and experiences.

Experience of using statistical analysis software.
